Jonathan Gunga

Personal Story:

I grew up near Leeds, England, in a former mining town – the youngest of three sport-obsessed brothers, with a Mauritian father and English mother. Surrounded by big and varied personalities, I developed a knack for understanding people. Yet, I was unaware that psychology could be a career, and so my curiosity and ambition led me into management consultancy. While I valued that broad experience, I was most energised when helping leaders and this ultimately led me to focus on leadership effectiveness – an indirect route but inevitable destination. Today, my most important development role is raising my 2-year-old daughter with my wife on England’s Southeast Coast.
